Squadron Reunions
The Association's first reunion was held in late 1990 at Pensacola, Florida - the "Cradle of Naval Aviation" - shortly after the organization was
formed. As planned and without fail, 
reunions have been held every two years at various locations throughout the United States...from Jacksonville to San Antonio to San Diego. Getting together at these reunions has promoted camaraderie and provided a great way to reconnect with and then stay in touch with old friends and
shipmates...and meet new friends with a common bond! Many of us have felt, and voiced the opinion, that these squadron reunions are much more fun and rewarding than high school or college reunions we have attended.
Our most recent reunion was held in August 2022 in Jacksonville, Florida.
The 2024 Reunion is in the books.
The 2024 Pelican Reunion was held in San Antonio, TX, and included a number of interesting presentations, as well as a fascinating trip to the Natinoal Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, the birthplace of ADM Chester Nimitz.
